Susan Bower RBA ROI
Was born in Yorkshire in 1953 and studied Biology and Psychology. She was made a member of the Royal Institute of Oil Painters in 1993 and a member of the Royal Society of British Artists in 1998.
Commentary on Work
I have always drawn and painted and had my first exhibition in watercolour in 1987. I painted in watercolour before moving onto oils and from a traditional style to a more naive style of painting in which I found myself. I now live and work in Yorkshire with my husband and we have four grown up children. I am currently preparing for a one- man show in London in September.
