The Royal Society of British Artists

The Royal Society of British Artists advocates the highest standards of skill, expression and concept throughout the visual arts. We represent 'leading edge' artists who employ a sound knowledge and application of draughtsmanship as the basis of their work.

Our annual exhibition at the prestigious Mall Galleries in London, together with other regional and international members' exhibitions we hold throughout the year, promote a renaissance of core aesthetic values within the visual arts.

The Royal Society of British Artists also works with schools, colleges and universities to uphold these principles within education and to encourage excellence in the development of emerging artists.

The exhibition opens to the public on Wednesday 29th February.

There is an article entitled "High Society" in the March 2012 issue of Artists & Illustrators magazine, written by our president James Horton. In this article James describes the selection of artwork for our forthcoming annual exhibition.
